Our founder is Dave. He began his interest in Electric vehicles as a means of daily transportation in his hometown of Berkeley, California about 5 years ago. When he was growing up, he used to enjoy biking as a way to get to school as well as to go on explorations. Riding with a couple friends to explore the nearby towns and parks.

There were also the frequent excursions up into the hills of Berkeley, which has some very steep and winding roads. A challenge to go up and a joy to come back down... this was naturally before any electric bikes had been made. And way before any safety helmets, gloves or pads were available.
